Editor's Notes
Time of momentous change:
New ways of contracting for services,
government funding constraints
the emergence of social impact investing are spurring the need for you to reconsider the way in which they operate now and into the future.
Early Adaption is the key to survival in the face of digital disruption
It doesn’t feel that long ago that I was in this building for Kiama’s NBN switch on event
The illawarra and shoalhaven regions have been enjoying the near completion of the NBN roll out. Has your organisation made the switch?
If you still aren’t quite sure what the fuss is about let me spend a couple minutes to explain.
These keys are the foundation for your organisation to innovate and provide new ways to service your clients and members
There are cost effective alternatives to achieve fast internet - like 4G!

Who here uses Office 365 or Google for work? With faster internets we have seen digital disruptions across many industry verticals. Cloud technology is a byproduct of faster internet. Netflix is a great example of cloud technology. So is Google Drive and MS Sharepoint.

In early preparation for NDIS FOCAS moved their paper processes into the cloud through the introduction of an online members area designed for their clients and their staff to easily access.
Family Advocacy have an amazing repository of resources that they needed to get out to their audience and the wider community. Through digital consulting we were able to make the Inclusion Collection easy to find, search, categorise and index all via their website.

The google guys
The google guys
No longer just a search engine.
Cloud business and online advertising have taken Google to new heights.
Alphabet Inc. is an American multinational conglomerate founded on October 2, 2015, by the two founders of Google, Larry Page and Sergey Brin, with Page serving as CEO and Brin as President.
Google’s Adwords online advertising business makes up over half of the current revenue of the company.
Start by writing an ad that tells people what you offer. Next, choose the search terms that will make your ad show in the Google results. Finally, set a daily budget.
The competitiveness of the search term will define the cost to advertise in the top position
It’s not all corporate and evil. Google has a softer side. Ad Grants! And you are probably eligible to apply.
Allowing causes in Australia to attract more donations, share their stories and recruit more volunteers through digital marketing
The more frequently your ads appear next to Google search results, the more people will be aware of your cause.
That can translate into more donations and more volunteers – the lifeblood of every non-profit.
All of our Grantees must meet certain criteria in order to qualify for Google Ad Grants and keep that qualification active.
