Tanker Services
History
D&H Tankers operated out of their premises in Kwa-Natal specialising in the transportation of bulk Bitumen. Later one
of its articulated vehicles made history by becoming the first used to spray roads in South Africa.
Establishment of the Jacobs Depot to Transvaal and Cape Town. During mid to late 60’s the company introduced
Chassis-less tankers, launched its first liquid petroleum tankers and utilised stainless steel tankers.
D&H Tankers became a public entity, the overseas partners were bought out and the company renamed Tankers
Services which subsequently became a subsidiary of Imperial Logistics in 1994.

Challenges
A major challenge is irresponsible third

unroadworthy third party vehicles
