3. WORK EXPERIENCE
09/2009: to Present: Currently contracted to DRS Technical Services
Inc. as a Counter Improvised Explosive Device/Electronic Counter
Measure Field Service Representative (CIED/ECM FSR) supporting the
Australian Defense Force (ADF). Position is forward deployed in support
to the ADF, providing technical, logistic, line maintenance and repair
and full phase (Operator, Maintainer, Management and Command Staff
Planning) training for specific CIED/ECM equipment.
03/2008 to 09/2009: Contracted with SAIC in support of the Army Test
and Evaluation Command in direct support of the JCREW Joint Test board.
As a Counter-Improvised Explosive Device Analyst,
This position is responsible for supporting the Data Management Working
Group in testing efforts relating to the Counter IED Electronic Warfare
involving detecting, jamming, and defeating IED’s and EFP’s. Position
analyses testing methodologies and makes recommendations improvements
to testing techniques and identifies and develops new testing protocols.
05/2006 to 03/07: Employed with MANTECH International holding a
contractor Position under the Joint Improvised Explosive Device Defeat
Organization (JIEDDO), with the Navy Center of Excellence (NCOE) as an
Explosive Ordnance Disposal/Electronic Counter Measure Project Manager.
This position provides expertise in the operation of Electronic
Countermeasures (ECM) in support of the JIEDDO Navy COE's mission of
integrating technology, training, techniques, and procedures to develop
IED Defeat CONOPS, coordinate Joint and Service training efforts and
develop individual and collective training for deploying units to
proactively defeat IEDs.
DUTIES:
a. Serve as an Electronic Warfare Technician for electronic warfare
related to Counter Radio Controlled Improvised Explosive Device
Electronic Warfare (CREW) and Robotic technology for the JIEDDO Navy
COE.
b. Provide operational expertise relating to employment of electronics
warfare equipment; specifically in Navy COE assigned areas of CREW and
Robotics.
c. Assist with development of preliminary Tactics, Techniques and
Procedures (TTP) in areas of CREW, Robotics, Pre-Detonation and Render
Safe.
d. Utilize my Military Master Training Specialist and Curriculum
Developer qualification to support NCOE’s Mobile Training Team (MTT)
mission and provide pre-deployment CREW and Robotic training to Navy
units, individual augmentees (IA's) and Services as required.
