LAW OF MEDIUM SPEED SAYS …
1. Slow down
2. Breathe
3. Focus on one task at a time
4. Complete said task
5. Move on to next task
SOUNDS SIMPLE; BUT THIS TAKES PRACTICE AND DISCIPLINE!
4. TURNMAKER
LOGIC
LOOSE ENDS ARE ONE OF THE BIGGEST TIME WASTERS
1. Less mistakes means less rework
2. Reduce and/or eliminate duplication of Effort
3. Have the clarity of mind to actually see, evolve, simplify or
even eliminate certain tasks and processes
4. Stop repeated visits to tasks that still have loose ends

once (operating at break neck speeds) take a deep breath
and say to yourself, “Medium Speed Sunshine.”

HELPFUL TIPS
1. Think of a Japanese tea ceremony where every movement is sacred.
Sounds corny; but it works!
2. As the breath goes … so does the mind. DO NOT underestimate the power
of your breath. Slow and measured is what you’re after (at least initially). Try
4 counts in and 4 counts out.
3. If you are so overwhelmed … to the point of curling up in a fetal position
and sucking your thumb? It’s time to ruthlessly cut; or renegotiate certain
tasks and process.
4. Can’t see the forest for the tree’s? (happens to all of us) Get together with a
trusted friend; or co-worker. Let them help you trim your tasks and
processes. (Word to the wise: don’t kill the messenger)
