 Patch fittings are ideal for almost any frameless all-
glass design.
 Patch fittings allow designers to create interior and
exterior openings that are both technically sound and
visually attractive.
 Patch fittings available today, providing tempered
glass assemblies that are technically sound and
visually attractive.

3. TYPES OF FITTINGS
 Patch fitting offers three fitting styles with a broad
range of options and configurations— Universal,
ARCOS, and EA offset.
 True to its name, the Universal line of patch fittings
provides many options for frameless glass doors.
 ARCOS patch fittings with an aesthetically pleasing
arc profile provide a unique and contemporary
alternative to the Universal fittings.

 EA offset patch fittings are characterized by their
elegant slim shape and advanced pivot design.

 Universal fittings are
available for 3/8" (10
mm)and 1/2" (12 mm)
glass thicknesses.
 Some fittings even
accommodate 5/8 (15
mm) and 3/4" (19 mm)
inch glass.
 The fittings are designed
to withstand large and
heavy doors up to a
maximum weight of 275
lb (125 kg).

 Standard and stock, Universal fittings come in
corner, fin, and angled styles, are available in a
variety of architectural finishes, and accommodate
multiple glass thicknesses.
 Universal patch fittings are ideal for almost any
design.
 Tempered glass assemblies are provided with fixed
parts in a variety of arrangements—with corner
fittings or fin fittings at different angles, and with
double or single-action doors in single-leaf or double-
leaf designs.

 ARCOS Universal
fittings are available for

thicknesses.
 The fittings are
designed to withstand
large and heavy doors
up to maximum weight
of 220 lb (100 kg).

 The ARCOS fittings are complemented by matching
ARCOS handles and housings for a uniform
contemporary look.
 The ARCOS Universal range offers patch fittings and
connector hardware for over panels and side panels,
and fin fittings for particularly large systems—with
the curved arc motif of the ARCOS design always
incorporated into each component.
 ARCOS Universal fittings have the features necessary
to meet the most demanding of specifications.

accessory, and of course, a variety of locks and strike

18.  Upon compliance with all of the criteria specified in
this section, other manufacturers wishing to bid
products similar to the product specified herein must
submit to the architect 10 days prior to bidding
complete data in support of compliance and a list of
three (3) past installations of products similar to
those listed.
 Manufacturing defects are defined as any defect
materially obstructing vision through the glass, and
any mechanical failure of hardware which prevents
the proper operation of the doors and appropriate
installation.

23.  Protect glass and doors from contact with
contaminating substances resulting from construction
operations.
 If, despite such protection, contaminating substances
do come in contact with glass or hardware, remove
immediately by method recommended by
manufacturer.
 Wash glass on both faces not more than 4 days prior
to date scheduled for inspections intended to
establish date of substantial completion in each area
of project.
