BIOGRAPHY
“VYOM, a Delhi-based music project, is an enterprise of six passionate six young men, who are united by their
mutual love for music and distinguished by their tastes. Established in 2012”
“VYOM’ seeks to create music that is defined by its ingenuity as much as it is defined by its popular appeal.
Touching horizons across the whole spectrum of music, the band particularly specializes in “Indian
Contemporary Rock, Semi-Classical Rock, Sufi Rock, Fusion, Rock, Soft Rock and Bollywood Commercials”.

17. TECH RIDER & REQUIREMENTS
The organizers shall get the best stage, sound and light equipment for VYOM’s performance as per the
following basic Rider. Please forward this technical information to the supplying sound/light company.
STAGE:
The Drummer is performing on a riser 9 ft. x 9 ft. 1.5 ft. high, covert by a thick carpet on it.
The main stage should be at least 30 ft. x 15 ft.
SOUND:
7 – Monitors Split into 7 Auxiliaries.
D BX/BSS Graphic Esq. for Every Monitor.
2 – Effects processors 1 for Reverb & 1 for delay 6 Channels of gate.

PA – SPECIFICATIONS:
Only a professional, at least 3 way active systems is accepted. The PA has to be configured in STEREO, mono
systems will not be accepted!!! The choice, size and setup of the PA system has to guarantee even coverage, a
linear frequency response and sufficient Dynamic response (110 dB) over the whole audience area.

1 Floor carpet (approx. 160cm x 200cm) for drums on the stage
STAFF:
We will need a qualified sound engineer, stage technician and lights technician. At the moment we do not
have a regular engineer, so we depend heavily on the staff on-site.
SOUND & LIGHTENING:
We prefer an overall natural sound with minimal processing and effects. The drums need not have click attack
sounds, please use gates only when unavoidable and with great care. The vocals are best left without
reverberation, maybe a bit of a very short delay on the singers. Main vocals (Nikhil) has a very large dynamic
range, please use compression. Lighting can be discussed during sound check, it is important though that
during the show there is always sufficient light for the bass and guitar players to see the fret board of their
instruments.
ARRIVAL:
Please provide detailed directions two weeks be-fore the date of the show with the complete address of the
venue and a telephone contact. We need a safe parking space available for the van close to the venue. Please
provide arrival, sound check and doors-open and on-stage times. The promoter or another person should be at
the venue at arrival time.
BACKSTAGE:
One separate green room with at least 8 chairs for the band to get some rest before and after the show. It
would be great to have 1 table, a mirror and sink.
Please provide: mineral water bottles at the stage before starting the performance. also arrange water and soft
drinks in the Green room on band’s arrival.

21. TERM’S & CONDITIONS
• PAYMENT TERMS: - Costing will be as per negotiations and mutual understandings.
• Payment Mode: 50% advance in our bank account and 50% one week before the date of event.
• The Advance for a show (Performance Charges) is Non – Refundable.
Kindly Note: -
(a). Mentioned rates are only for band performance not include with: - Band’s Transportation &
Band’s stay, these things should be provided by the client except band performance charges)
(b). If the client asked to manage everything by the band, there will be different charges according to
the event requirements.
• We need minimum 1 hour for sound testing before the show.
• Client should provide sound system, and drum kit for the show (as per the Tech Rider given by the
band).
• Client should inform a week in advance if they have any special requirements for the show.
• If the Band is asked and agrees to perform beyond the agreed finish time specified in the Booking
Contract an additional surcharge will be levied. This additional amount needs to be agreed prior to
any extension to the performance time, and noted on the Contract as a manual amendment. This
additional amount should be paid immediately.
• If we feel any misbehave with band members from the audience or by the event organizers we will
not continue the performance.
• Instruments we use in our performance: - Electric Guitars and Acoustic, Bass Guitar, Keyboards,
Drums, Dholak, Tabla, D-Jhimbe, Mouth Organ, Flute etc.
