B. SUMMARY:
Valentinos Neophytou was born in 1986 in Cyprus. In 2010, he obtained his
Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering (with First Class Degree) at Salford
University of United Kingdom and later in 2011 he obtained his Master
Degree in Structural Engineering (with Distinction) at the same University.
He has worked as a Site Engineer for Vazanias & Vattis Construction (2011-
2012) where he gained wide experience in civil and building structures from
the project inception stage and the project commissioning. He then
worked for Interserve Defence Limited where he further extended his
experience in consulting engineering, structural design and seismic
assessment of various types of structures and project management.
Additionally, had the opportunity to inspect a large number of facilities at
the British Forces Cyprus and prepare detailed appraisals and inspection
reports. He is familiar with European Standards, Eurocodes, UK Building
Regulations, Health & Safety and CDM Regulations. He is a Chartered
Engineer (CEng MICE), Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers (UK) and
a European Engineer (Eur Ing) of European Federation of National
Engineering Associations. He is also a President of the Civil Engineering
Association Cyprus (Limassol branch) and General Member of the Board
of the Cyprus National Monitoring Committee of European Federation of
National Engineering Associations. In addition, he is a member of various
Scientific Committees of the Technical Chamber of Cyprus such as:
Committee for developing the Cyprus Building Regulations (2011-2017) and
Civil Engineering Committee (2014-2017).

In 2010, he obtained his Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering (with First Class Degree) at Salford University of United Kingdom and later in 2011 he obtained his Master Degree in Structural Engineering (with Distinction) at the same University. He has worked as a Site Engineer for Vazanias & Vattis Construction (2011- 2012) where he gained wide experience in civil and building structures from the project inception stage and the project commissioning. He then worked for Interserve Defence Limited where he further extended his experience in consulting engineering, structural design and seismic assessment of various types of structures and project management. Additionally, had the opportunity to inspect a large number of facilities at the British Forces Cyprus and prepare detailed appraisals and inspection reports. He is familiar with European Standards, Eurocodes, UK Building Regulations, Health & Safety and CDM Regulations. He is a Chartered Engineer (CEng MICE), Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers (UK) and a European Engineer (Eur Ing) of European Federation of National Engineering Associations. He is also a President of the Civil Engineering Association Cyprus (Limassol branch) and General Member of the Board of the Cyprus National Monitoring Committee of European Federation of National Engineering Associations.
