Editor's Notes
Prezi is a virtual whiteboard that transforms presentations from monologues into conversations: enabling people to see, understand, and remember ideas.Seeing is believing and a picture can tell a thousand words, but a picture doesn’t tell an entire story. A visual story has a flow and narrative, where images and words work together to present an idea or lesson. Use Prezi’s open canvas to construct a story arc, where visual context leads the viewer on a path of discovery.Cloud-based presentation app. with 3D backgrounds and fade-in animations.Allows “users to pan and zoom and to size, rotate or edit an object.”Uses Adobe's Flash technology to create animated presentations. Can choose between the cloud, your desktop or the mobility of your ipad or iphone.
To understand complexity, one must zoom out to see the big picture and in to see the details. Prezi’s 3-dimensional canvas is a virtual space where you can delve deeper and pan wider to broaden the conversation.Prezi puts all your content—text, graphics, captions—on a single canvas, and then you trace a path from one item to another, instead of a series of separate slides. Preziis perfect for interactive classroom sessions or group projects. Preziallows you to use the PowerPoint Import feature to bring your existing content directly into your prezi presentation.

Because Prezi is a web app, all of the presentations you create are stored (and accessed) online. Prezi however, gives you the ability to present offline (basically just saves the file locally). If you want to create offline you must upgrade to their PRO version which is expensive. This zooming presentation software helps you organize, present and share your ideas.
