This is a letter of recommendation for Veronica White, who has been working as our Office Manager,
Administrative Assistant and Corporate Recruiter at Smokey Bones Bar & Fire Grill Corporate Headquarters
since August of 2015.
I began my role as the VPHR with Smokey Bones in November 2015. Ms. White was the individual who
initially reached out to me to discuss the VPHR opportunity, and the potential of this company as it relocated
its headquarters from Orlando, Florida to Hollywood, Florida.
Ms. White began reporting directly to me as the Administrative Assistant for our management staff and, as our
Corporate Recruiter as soon as I came on board since we had a number of open positions that needed to be
filled quickly and with the best talent in our industry.
Since August 2015 to present, Ms. White has been a great ambassador of the brand. She has enthusiastically
and professionally represented us to a number of skilled candidates, which we have hired for key positions such
as the Regional Director of HR, Director of Finance, Marketing Director, Marketing Coordinator and various
other C-level positions. While Ms. White's background is more of an Administrative Assistant, she has taken on
this challenge with great pride, confidence, efficiency and enabled our company to meet our staffing needs
months ahead of our projected schedule while meeting our Human Resources budget.
I have worked closely with Ms. White and her pleasant approach with people, her ability to multi-task, and her
troubleshooting skills have made an enormous difference from a time-management perspective and an
immeasurable impact on the quality of work we have accomplished since our move to South Florida. You will
find Ms. White approachable, friendly, polished and conscientious about her work. You will also appreciate her
willingness to accept new projects with vigor and enthusiasm.
During our venture, we relied on Ms. White’s impressive communication and writing skills which are vast in
their breadth, depth and scope, to represent the company to our clients and our customer base. She is
engaging, energetic and relatable.
