Marco Versiani received his undergraduate training in dentistry at the University of Minas Gerais, Brazil in 1992. He is specialist in Bioethics (2002), Methodology of Scientific Research (1996) and Endodontics (1999). He completed his Master Degree in Endodontics in 2006 and his PhD at University of Sao Paulo (USP) in 2012. He spent ten years in the department of endodontology at the Brazilian Dental Association, and twenty years in private practice. His main scientific interests were the performance of nickel-titanium rotary root canal instruments, the physico-chemical properties of endodontic materiais and micro-computed tomography.
