This document is a project report submitted by Harsha Chhaparwal, a second year fashion design student, toward fulfilling the requirements of a two-year diploma in fashion design. The project focused on print development, where the student learned about various Indian art and craft techniques for creating motifs. Under faculty guidance, the student explored different print creation methods like block printing and developed a print design for bedsheets using software. 7. What is Print Development?
Print development is a type of technique which we can apply on the fabric
through various procedures. It can be screen printing, block printing,
hand printing. In print development geometry plays an important role. To
Develop any new print we have to use different shapes and lines , arranging
them in different manner will create a new design.
Print generate the mood according to the client needs, which will help the
customer and helps them choice more. Many more print can be used by
different procedures on the fabric
