5. Compliance
• The new EEU Regulation came into force in 2012 replacing the
previous law, the Cosmetics Regulation.
• The general objectives of this New Regulation are to cover the
ubiquitous gaps from the previous Directive, which lead to several
amendments in the past, and to harmonize once again the EEU
Market.
• The regulation, by definition, does not require cosmetic product
registration except for a few categories, e.g. cosmetics for children
and peeling.
• RPhG provides the declaration of conformity and your company’s
registration.
