Born in Baghdad, Iraq, in 1946, obtained his B.A. in English on June 30, 1969 from the College of Arts, Baghdad University, and his graduate degree. in English from (then) Atlanta University (now Clark-Atlanta University), Atlanta, Georgia, on December 20, 1978.
* Taught English as a second language in Iraq, Saudi Arabia, and the U.S.
* Now translating the Holy Qur'an into English which will be the FIRST done by an Arab,
* Translating Volume Seven of لمحات اجتماعية من تاريخ العراق الجديث (Social Glimpses of Modern History of Iraq by Dr. Ali al-Wardi for Dar al-Mamoon, Iraqi Ministry of Culture, having already finished translating Volume Six.
* Completed the translation of three volume...
