3. 1.Overview and features
1.You can make ADK,Microbridge(that for talk with Android
device) or USB Host related product easily with PIC ADK
Miniboard.
2.This PCB employs FT232RL to communicate with PC
(also suitable for software debugging).
3.Additional circuit for 2CHs of DC Motor and 3CHs of
servomotor drivers on board enables you to make robot or
RC-cars easily.
4.Many short-circuit-jumpers especially for select power
sources on-board to meet for your product specs.
5.On-board LED also helps you to do for rapid debugging.
6.PCB Connector layout is compatible with PIC ADK
Miniboard rev.1
5. 3.List of short-circuit-jumpers(SJx)
SJ1:Connect 5V and 3.3V power
SJ2:Connect power source for motors with common 5V
SJ4:Connect FTDI UART Rx to PIC UART
SJ5:Connect FTDI UART Tx to PIC UART
SJ6:Supply power for FTDI device from USB miniB VBUS
SJ7:Apply miniB VBUS for common 5V of this PCB
SJ8:Apply Host connector s VBUS from 5V line in circuit

1.Install software to your Android device

2.Program firmware onto PIC MCU

3.Attach LED to PIC MCU s pin #7
4.Supply 5V(please refer to 8-2) or jumper SJ7 and attach USB-miniB to
the PC.
5.Attach Android device to the board.
