PROJECTS
Non- Redundant Intelligent Feature Selection in Document (text) Classification
(Master’s- Thesis)
2. In this thesis a new feature selection algorithm has been proposed, using Mutual
Information as feature ranking technique. After ranking feature on the base of Mutual
Information, a new layer of operations has been added to evaluate each feature in term
of provision of redundant information with respect to already selected features, but
optimizing computational complexity as compared to well-known advance non-
redundant feature selection techniques. Non- redundant intelligent feature selection
algorithm in document classification, with optimizing computational complexity
Genetic Programming based degree constrained spanning trees extraction
During my Master’s Studies, I have worked on evolutionary algorithm as well. In this
regard, we proposed a new genetic programming based solution to degree constrained
spanning tree problem.
Empirical and Theoretical and Comparative Study of Artificial Intelligence
Techniques in Implementing Self-Healing Autonomic Systems.
During my undergraduate degree, I had done a survey and comparative study of
Artificial Intelligence Techniques in Implementing Self-Healing Autonomic Systems, in
term of empirical and theoretical ways.
PROJECTS IN PROGRESS
Context aware feature selection in textual data
Dictionary Optimization for the sparse coding of sequential patterns (In Collaboration
with Mr. Thanh Lam Hoang from IBM Dublin)
Analysis on crime data of Punjab
Outliers detection in medicine supply and consumption chain at different Basic Health
Units of Punjab
