President Donald J Trumps new executive order caused chaos across the nation and the world. Many people were detained at airports, even those with means of legal residents in the U.S.
2. WHAT IS THE ISSUE AND WHY IS IT RELEVANT AND WORTH
EXPLORING?
• (Political) This order affects people not only in the United States but also all around the world. Order was
signed by the President of the U.S, Donald Trump.
• (Social) Many different groups of people are targeted with this order sometimes bringing in the topic of
ethics. Divides society in the U.S, some oppose the ban while others whole heartedly support it.
• (Personal) I identify as Muslim which plays a major role in this order
• (Economical) Equal opportunity to work in the economy or just add to the economy
3. WHAT ARE POTENTIAL PROBLEMS OR CHALLENGES ASSOCIATED WITH THE
ISSUE?
• The issue is very political so the world but especially the U.S is divided into how to go
about this issue, some support the ban and think it should be added on to while others
are very much opposed to it and see it as unconstitutional.
• The ban targets or makes Muslims feel targeted as the 7 countries listed in the ban
were majority Islamic.
• Many people with legal green cards were detained at airports after the ban went into
effect
• Students studying abroad also had issues with this
• Topic does not have a lot of research or studies since it is fairly new and still
developing
• Topic is very bias depending on who you ask

• How will this ban effect people with current Visas?
• What legal actions can be taken against this ban?
• Since the federal judge halted the order temporarily, how does this affect
the ban?
• Is there opposition to the new ban?
