A short brief on Renewable Energy. Renewable energy is energy that comes from sources that are naturally replenished on a human timescale, like sunlight, wind, water, geothermal heat, and biomass. Unlike fossil fuels, which are finite and take millions of years to form, renewable energy sources are constantly being regenerated. This makes them a more sustainable and environmentally friendly option for meeting our energy needs.

7. Case Studies of Successful Renewable
Energy Projects in Bangladesh
Solar Power
From just a few megawatts
in 2010, Bangladesh's solar
power capacity has
skyrocketed to over 700
MW in 2023!
Wind Power
Bangladesh has the potential
to generate 30,000 MW of
wind power, with ideal wind
speeds in coastal areas like
Cox's Bazar.
Hydropower
Bangladesh has its only
hydropower in Kaptai which
called "Kaptai Hydropower
Station". It contributing 230
MW to the national grid.

In conclusion, renewable energy is a clean, sustainable, and
reliable source of energy. It offers numerous advantages and
is being increasingly adopted worldwide. However, there are
challenges that need to be addressed to fully harness its
potential.
