2. As none of the members of our group are appropriate for the documentary and we
feel we would rather concentrate on filming and editing footage, we have decided
to ask someone else to be our voice over/ presenter (depending on target audience
preference) As this person has a lot of experience in acting and it would benefit her
too, I sent her an email to ask if she would be interested in doing it. If she is unable
to, I will look into other people who could possibly be our voice over.
3. We decided to get into contact with a possible interviewee, who is a
meninist and so it would be interesting to portray his opinion. It would be
great if he could come into college and we could interview him.
4. We got a reply from one of the interviewee’s who has shown an interest in
the idea of being in the documentary. However, he does not want people to
know his identity or to associate him with Meninism and so therefore we
will make sure that his identity is hidden from the cameras and so we will
look into possible ways to hide identity. I will get back to him with a plan
of the interview and questions I will ask him in due course.
5. We messaged Gillian
Harthwaite, the head of
the Feminist Society at
Solihull Sixth Form. We
would like to ask her
questions about what she
feels Meninism is and how
it has been influenced by
social media. Also, we feel
that it would be a good
comparison to the meninst,
who obviously would have
opposite opinions on the
topic. We have therefore
booked an interview into
her schedule.
6. We sent a message to
Touchwood Shopping
Centre to ask them
whether we could film
in Touchwood and
they messaged back
saying no, but gave us
an alternative
Shopping Centre who
we could ask.
7. We then messaged Mell
Square and asked if we could
film Voxpop videos there but
they have not replied yet.
