This document summarizes Andrea Hewes' reflections on what she learned in her English 102 course over the fall 2011 semester. 7. Revising a College Essay
I always had that feeling of dread when I thought about
revising a paper. This semester was a good experience when
it came to revision. I learned that it can be easy when taking

8. Critical Response
The next analysis was done on The last paper was my choice
Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein. and I chose Jane Austen’s
It was frustrating but a good Northanger Abbey. This was
learning experience the hardest paper for me but I
was happy with the end result.

9. Monsters
It was a surprise to me that something that you see in horror
movies can have a more profound meaning. It is hard to know
what that meaning is until you analyze what the author is trying
to say.

10. Annotated Bibliography
