E-education involves e-teaching and e-learning using internet technologies to deliver and facilitate lifelong learning. E-teaching provides e-learning programs that instruct students to use internet and web technologies, while e-learning is learning that takes place through experiences and interactions online. Some advantages of e-education include accessible learning from any location, borderless education, lower costs, and the ability to quickly get answers to questions. However, challenges include unmotivated learners falling behind without structure, feelings of isolation, unreliable internet connections, and difficulty simulating hands-on courses online. Methods of e-education include classroom management systems, videos, social networking, open educational resources, and online tests/simulations.
