2. Stealth
• The aim of any stealth game is to not be seen or be detected, as it
doesn’t reward the player if they go in guns blazing.
• With any game the most basic requirement is a mission structure, the
way this done through side mission planning and unlocking abilities.
• The assassination mission will have at least three ways to kill the target,
this is shown of in the came during the tutorial.
3. Narrative
• In the most action games the idea is to stop the villain carrying out their
evil act on the world, in Assassins Creed the story takes place in the year
1191 during the third crusade where the Assassins are battling with the
Templar Knights over the mysterious Apple of Eden, which turned up at
the start of the game.
• At the start of the game the main protagonist Altair leads a rescue party
with other assassins to recover the apple, however Altair fails to recover
the apple from the Templars and soon finds out that the Assassin HQ is
attacked. After the attack the Assassin master kills Altair as punishment
but resurrects him with another Apple, the player then has to rebuild his
way up and kill 12 wealthy men who are linked to the attack so he can be
forgiven.
4. Gameplay
• With any video game console the convention way to layout the controls is that the
left stick controls the character with the right one controlling the camera angle.

• In Assassins Creed the Protagonist (heroes)are the Assassin
and the Templars Antagonist (villain), however the later on in
the story the Assassins don’t turn at to be as good as it is
made out to be.
• This leads to your character going rouge and finding out the
secrets about the Assassin master which leads the character
to confront him and kill him.
6. Linguistics
• In the game there are a range of different language, the most
common is English however walking around cities you will be
able to hear people talking in Arabic and Hebrew.
