1. Freelancing and Bangladesh:
Freelancing can be the next big thing in Bangladesh economy and reduce unemployment problem of
Bangladesh. Day by day in Bangladesh number of freelancer increasing because of working
independently, be your own boss, better money than local work. But still there is some problem in these
sectors which we need to remove if we want to success on this sector and reduce unemployment
problem from Bangladesh.
Present problem now as bellow:
 Lack of proper training.
 Lack of English.
 Lack of internet connection, electricity at rural area of Bangladesh.
 Lack of knowledge on freelancing/outsourcing.
 Lack of women involvement at this sector.
 Financial problem.
Present Status of Bangladeshi freelancer:
Bangladeshi freelancers are working on various freelancing sites like upwork.com (Odesk + Elance),
freelancer.com, 99designs.com, guru.com, staff.com, Fiver.com etc. On Basis of upwork report now total
registered user from Bangladesh at upwork.com are 95000 but active users who are 45000 that means
45% people create account but doing no activity and now rank of Bangladesh is 12 where at 2012
Bangladesh was 3rd
. This is why we create Freelancer association of Bangladesh to take action that are
inactive and give better support to those who are active on various freelancing sites.

Why freelancing activity became low at 2014-2015 Than before:
Freelancing activity became low at 2014-2015 Than previous years at Bangladesh. The reasons are as
bellow:
a) Upwork.com make some changes on submitting proposal and feedback and lack of these
information freelancer from Bangladesh getting more less job than previous year and some of
them losing interest of doing freelancing.
b) Lack of proper training on various job skill and lack of latest technology knowledge.
c) Some people creating account on for doing freelancing but without proper guidelines they are
losing interest of doing freelancing.
d) Some people getting job and without having proper knowledge of work they being unsuccessful
and losing interest of doing freelancing.
e) Still internet and electricity problem.
f) Bangladesh Government running various project but all are one times no refurbishment or no
review training to keep their skill active and for those who are taking training are losing at
freelancing sector.
Conclusion:
Still Bangladesh have huge probability of gaining economic and developing Bangladesh as development
country from these sector by giving proper training at continuous basis those who are doing freelancing
and want to do freelancing. Bangladesh can reduce unemployment problem from these sector and
