In 1947, Patterson & Dewar Engineers (P&D)
opened its doors and began offering civil
and electrical engineering services for rural
electrification programs throughout the Southeast.
Today, we provide engineering, land surveying, and
construction management services from offices in
Atlanta, Nashville, Dallas, and Amarillo to clients
across the country.
As President and CEO Mike Kline explains, “At P&D

Testing & Commissioning
With in-depth knowledge and experience in the design, use, and
control of energized systems, we help clients ensure their facilities are
safe, functional, and reliable.
Land Surveying and Mapping
We offer a full suite of land surveying and mapping services. Our
Certified Floodplain Surveyors (CFS) and Professional Land Surveyors
(PLS) average 30 years of experience and are licensed in several states.
Construction Management
Whether engineer-procure-construct (EPC), design-build, or traditional
design-bid-build, we take care of the planning, coordination, and
control of your projects from start to finish. We keep our eye on every
detail to mitigate obstacles and maximize value.
