Scanning devices are proliferating in all our markets
Of course, when we need a model for any purpose, we can still derive one. We can move from collected points to surfaces to features in a process that is often simpler than modeling from scratch.
Here you can see a laser point cloud in the background, and wall geometry that was automatically extracted from it. Shape Extraction Reality Capture technology can be a huge time saver.
Now,if we look at the histogram a little differently, we can augment our understanding to include the transitions between actions.Here the arcs at the left show which commands lead and follow each other. This begins to show not simply what the users are clicking, but what they are doing.
Here’s another view, which even more dramatically represents the activity. An aggregate of all users is show here. The bubbles are the commands, the arrows show their sequence. This network immediately shows which low-level commands are used together to accomplish higher-level functions.
