This document summarizes a webinar about using the import.io tool for data journalism. The webinar covered three journalism use cases demonstrating import.io's main features: extractors, connectors, and crawlers. Extractors were used to extract US defense contracts data. Connectors accessed data from the Superior Court of California website. Crawlers gathered music play data from Seattle. Import.io allows journalists to extract large amounts of data from websites without coding by recording actions on a site.
