• In groups of 4 research the impacts of tourism on different areas of
the world:
• 1. Mark on the location of your designated area
on your copy of the World map.
• 2. Use the links on Showbie to help you start finding
out about your area and then try some of your own
research using your iPads.
• 3. Make sure you find some positive and negative
impacts and have a variety of social, economic and
environmental impacts too.
Sharing your information
• Each of you will be given a number and you will form a new, larger
group
• You will each feedback your research to your new group
• As you listen to the others in your group, mark onto your map:
a. the location of their tourist study area
b. annotate the map with the impacts of tourism in this area
