4. What is the purpose?
Addressing shortcomings of the traditional doubleblind review process
• Contribution to a more open and transparent
scientific dialogue
• Support to authors & expert reviewers with a
more diversified perspective on the manuscript
• Support to a ‘hybrid‘ model combining doubleblind and open review

„Commentathon“ according to your ideas.

Discussing papers as seminar task (group of 15 learners).
• One session of 2-3 hours is dedicated to comments on
INNOQUAL papers
• Alternatetively, students comment asynchronously
across a timeframe of 2 weeks & discuss face-to-face in
a shorter session
