What’s the first thing that pops into your mind when you think of the library? If you said “books”, 98% of the people in the WORLD agree with you. A study done in 2005 compared perceptions of libraries across the country and across all age groups. The percentage was the same for all groups! Another perception noted in the report is that the library is important for education, and provides reliable information – just as reliable as the Internet, in fact! Tonight we’ll explore some of the services your libraries provide, and how you can use your library at home.
