Digitization and Mobility is driving a complete makeover of the Indian Pharma industry. In this context, DigiPharmaX Awards aims to recognize the digital & mobility initiatives of Pharma companies. In its evolved form DigiPharmaX forum aims to be an industry wide knowledge & best practices sharing platform. This will in long run also help in recognizing the thought leaders who are leveraging technology to achieve improved efficiency, reach and cost optimization. This idea has been ably supported by Global Space Technologies and Microsoft who are pioneering this effort, backed by some of the most distinguished and reputed Media Houses. The awards would be adjudged very transparently by a distinguished jury panel. Nominations are invited from the Pharmaceutical industry under the various categories as mentioned under ‘categories’. The Jury has put in a standard process to scrutinize every nomination and the winners would be awarded at a function which will have a panel discussion by esteemed panelists followed by a festive evening and dinner at Mumbai.

Pratap Gupta as our Chief guest,
known to be one of the front-runners
of the corporate world. He is an
influential public policy-maker,
innovator and an economic strategist.
Mr. Rajendra Pratap Gupta
Rajendra Pratap Gupta is a known face in public policy and is a
sought after speaker. In fact, he has an old connection with the
pharmaceutical industry and was also associated in
conceptualizing the first awards in the Pharmaceutical industry.
He started his career with IMS Health and worked with AC
Nielsen for the first 7 years, and later moved on to lead the
world’s largest franchised pharmacy chain, the Medicine
Shoppe International. He made it the fast growing retailer in
India, and within 7 years of starting his career he was the Chief
Operating Officer and Board member. In his career spanning
over two decades, he has served almost every segment of
healthcare; the pharma companies, OTC & nutraceutical
companies, dermatology and cosmetic companies, FMCG
companies, R&D companies, disease management companies,
insurance companies, Healthcare IT companies and industry
organizations at the board or advisory board level across USA,
Europe, U.K. and India. In 2012, he was felicitated as the
Global Healthcare Leader by the Sheriff of Los Angeles.
Rajendra is considered the architect of the BJPs policies, as the
one who drafted the Election Manifesto of BJP in 2009 and
2014.
He has played an important role in drafting various sectorial
policies, and also serves on the Central Council of Health &
Family Welfare, Government of India - the apex advisory body
of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare besides other
committees on health standards development. He is also the
author of the best selling healthcare book ‘ Healthcare Reforms
in India - making up for the lost decades’.
