REHERSAL PERFORMANCE TO GIVE A SENSE OF BEHIND THE SCENES FOOTAGE. WE
PLAN TO ENCORPORATE THIS LOCATION INTO OUR NARRATIVE OF THE MUSIC VIDEO.
WHEN IT COMES TO LIGHTING THE AIM IS TO HAVE DIFFERENT COLOURED LIGHTS
SHINING ONTO THE WHITE BACKDROP OR ALTERNATIVLEY WE MAY CHANGE THE
LIGHTING SO THAT THE BACK DROP APPEARS DARKER IN ORDER TO CREATE A NIGHT
SKY EFEFCT. THE BAND WILL START THE MUSIC VIDEO IN THE LOCATION, IT WILL BEGIN
WITH THEM ENETERING TOGETHER (THROUGH THE LINKING DOOR) COLECTING THEIR
INSTURMENTS WHICH ARE ALREADY LAID OUT FOR THEM. THEY WILL THEN PROCEED
TO PERFORM THE SONG, THE STUDIO FILIMING TIME WILL CONSIST OF AROUND 1
MINUTE OF THE WHOLE MUSIC VIDEO. THE STUDIO FACILTY WE WILL BE USING IS

WE WILL BE USING THE GARAGE AS THE LOCATION FOR OUR BANDS LIVE PERFORMANCE SCENE.
THE GOAL IS TO DECORATE THIE INTERIOR OF THE GARAGE WITH FAIRY LIGHTS. WE PLAN TO LIGHT
THE GARAGE WITH STUDIO LIGHTS IF WE ARE ABLE TO GAIN ACCESS TO THESE, HOWEVER IF NOT
WE HAVE AN ALTERNATIVE OPTION OF USING CAR HEADLIGHTS IF ITS NECESSARY. WE AIM TO HAVE
BLUE/WHITE LIGHTING TO REPRESENT THE MOONLIGHT IN ORDER TO MAKE A MATCH WITH THE
LYRICS OF THE SONG. THE PATIO AREA OUTSIDE THE GARAGE MAY BE USED FOR SOME DANCE
PERFORMANCE BY EXTRAS IN ORDER TO CREATE MORE ACTION, OR IT MAY JUST SIMPLY BE PEOPLE
WITH SPARKLERS, THE AIM OF THIS WOULD BE TO BARELY SEE THE PEOPLE USING THWEM
HOWEVER THE SPARKLERS STANDING OUT, THIS MAY INCLUDE SPELLING OUT LYRICS FROM THE
SONG, IF THIS IS DO-ABLE, IT WOULD HAVE TO BE TRIALED FIRST. THE GARAGE WILL BE SET UP AS A
LOW KEY ENVIRONMENT, TO BE A MORE RELAXED PLACED FOR THE BAND TO PERFORM INFRONT OF

WE DECIDED FOR ONE OF OUR SCENES TO BE IN A FAMILY LIVING ROOM,
AS THE SONG IS BASED ON A HAPPY PLACE/LIFE, AND DIFFERENT PEOPLE
HAVE DIFFERENT HAPPY PLACES, WE DECIDED FOR A LOT OF PEOPLE A
FAMILY ENIRORNEMENT CAN CREATE A LOT OF HAPPINESS AND THE HEART
OF THE HOUSE IS THE LIVING ROOM. IT IS A VERY NATURAL ENVIRONMENT
AND ITS EASY TO GAIN ACSESS WHICH IS VERY IMPORTANT. THE ACTOR
WILL ENTER THROUGH THE LINKING DOOR AND JOIN HER FAMILY AND
FRIENDS IN THE ROOM. FOLLOWING ON FROM THIS THE ACTORS WILL
THEN ENGAGE IN TYPICAL FAMILY ACTIVITIES SUCH AS SITTING WATCHING
TELEVISION OR LOOKING THROUGH OLD FAMILY PHOTOS.

WE WILL BE USING THIS LOCATION TO SHOW ‘HAPPY TIMES’, WHICH IN THIS CASE WILL BE
A MEAL WITH FRIENDS. WE WILL NOT BE ADAPTING THE LAYOUT OF THE RESTAURANT AS IT
MAY BE DIFFICULT DUE TO GAINING PERMISSIONS AND OTHER CUSTOMERS IN THE
RESTAURANT. HOWEVER WE WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF WHAT IS ON OFFER, WE PLAN TOO
USE A BOOTH TABLE, IN ORDER TO CREATE A CLOSE PROXIMITY BETWEEN THE ACTORS IN
ORDER TO EMPHASISE THEIR RELATIONSHIP SHOWING THAT THEY ARE HAPPY. FOR
LIGHTING EFFECTS, THIS IS LIKELY TO BE DELT WITH THE MOST IN THE EDITING STAGE
DUE TO LIMITED RESOURCES AS I COULD BE DIFFICULT TO GET APPROPIRATE LIGHTING IN
THE RESTAURANT. THE LOW KEY LIGHTING CAN SET THE RESTRAUNT TONE OF BEING
INTENSE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE FRIENDS REPRESENTING THEIR CLOSENESS. WE
WILL TRY USE THE RESTRAUNT FACILITIES ON AN EVENING AND ON A DAY WHERE IT MAY
BE A BIT BUSIER TO GIVE OFF A MORE LIVELY ATMOSPHERE, HOWEVER WE WILLAVOID
FILMING ON THE BUSIEST TIME SO WE AREN’T IN THE WAY OF THEIR SERVICE.

EACH SCENE IS LINKED THROUGH A DOOR, SO WHEN
AN ACTOR OR SINGER LEAVES THROUGH ONE DOOR
IT WILL CUT TO THEM ENTERING ANOTHER, SO IT
LOOKS LIKE THEY ARE GOING STRAIGHT INTO THAT
ROOM. WE HAVE CHOSEN TO DO THIS AS IT CREATES
AN ELEMENT OF CONTINUITY AND MAKES THE CUTS
FROM SHOT TO SHOT LOOK MORE GENUINE.
