5. The first stage of the butterfly is the egg. Female butterflies lay their eggs on leaves. Depending on the butterfly that laid the eggs, eggs can be round or oval. Butterfly eggs are tiny: the size of a pin head. Life Cycle:egg
6. The second stage of a butterfly is the Larva, or Caterpillar. Caterpillars eat leaves constantly and grow very fast Caterpillars shed their skin FOUR times before they are fully grown. Life Cycle:Larva(caterpillar)
