The Influence of ERP Success Factors on EHR Implementation

Research was carried out in six Dutch hospitals on the premise that successful ERP system models could apply equally well to EHR implementation. The study differentiated between second and third generation EHR systems and found that the ERP success factors only apply to third generation implementations. Study findings were presented at WoHIT Copenhagen on November 6th, 2008 by Arne Freriks MSc and Robert Stegwee PhD.
