you.

about your meal.

• Does anything about that logo match your
experience in the restaurant?

message?

• Effects (sometimes)
4. What makes a GOOD
logo?

o Clean (not too detailed)
• Easily made black & white only

1. Make a list of 25 restaurant ideas/names. (You
must number them!)
2. Circle 3 names you might use.
3. Propose your restaurant name to your client (Mrs.
Hamby).
4. After your restaurant concept is approved,
complete 5.1 Restaurant Background worksheet
(on Media Arts Share Drive).
8. Unknown Restaurant
• Now choose a logo for an unknown restaurant (see
4.3 Restaurant Logos folder on Media Arts Share
Drive).
• Answer these questions:
1. List the colors used.
2. Describe the lines and shapes in 5 words. (ex. Thick/thin, straight/curvy,
cursive/block, etc.)
3. What type of food or drink do you think this restaurant serves?
4. What does the logo communicate about the restaurant? (Is it expensive?
Family-friendly? Casual? Fast-food? Etc.)
5. Do you think this is a “GOOD” logo? Why or why not?
