What is NGSE
New program model
Transition began 1 July 2013 from NGE to NGSE.
Not subject to Youth Exchange certification requirements
New Generations Service Exchange program - how it runs?
Individuals or groups
Participants must be between age 18 - 30, must have minimum working
knowledge of language of Exchange country.
Exchange will be Up to 6 months in duration ( recently only 1-3 months )
Participant is expected to do internship in his interested field in exchange
country.
Participants must have sponsorship of local Rotary club, District New
Generations Service exchange chair.
Host club /host parents will undertake responsibility for housing, food ,local
transport and Internship for inbounds, i.e. student coming in exchange .

How to select candidates and how to apply -
• Select Young s from any Rotarian or Non Rotarian Families, through
Clubs. Age – 18 to 30 yrs (married or unmarried).
• Have working knowledge of local language of exchange country.
• The candidate/s Understand Rotary and the value of service
• Have interest in service/vocational activities proposed for program.
• Register on web site rye3131.org. , download application form.
Submit to NGSE outbound chair through your rotary club. Processing
Fees 6000/- 9non refundable)
• Undertaking responsibility of inbound hosting before or after.
• Can apply anytime – No dead line ,apply min. 6 months before travel
