This document summarizes a generalization approach for single-center 3D projections that can handle non-planar projections, 2D lens effects, and image warping. It presents a technique using dynamic cube maps and projection tile screens to define arbitrary projection functions in a hardware-accelerated way. Applications shown include non-planar surfaces, custom normal maps for distortions, and compound projections. Future work is noted to improve quality and provide a graphical user interface.
