In That Business We Essentially Purchased “Disposable Trucks.” They would be so destroyed after a summer of use, that I would just take them to the scrap yard afterwards. 4. For Example: Major publications like The Detroit Free Press and The Detroit News were not places to find good deals. I looked in papers that were less Circulated, because those sellers rarely got any calls; therefore they were eager to sell their trucks at low prices.

5. When Something Is Not Well Advertised, Sellers Are Generally Enthusiastic To Sell It. I was able to purchase trucks every summer that were worth around $2,500 each, for ONE-TENTH of that price.

6. In Regards To Your Job Search, There Are Tons Of Jobs That Are Not Well Advertised. I run a company called Hound.com that tracks down job openings not advertised in major publications or on major job boards. Employers whose jobs are located and posted on Hound.com are very enthusiastic about hiring people who apply, because the pool of applicants is very small. You need to find opportunities in places everyone else is overlooking.

8. I Have Just Moved To Las Vegas And Am Living In A Condominium On The Strip. I have found people in Las Vegas to be very friendly and accommodating. I am not a gambler or a big partier, but there is definitely some invigorating energy going on around here.

9. I Was Waiting To Move Into My New Condo In Las Vegas When… I got a call from my broker. He said there was a second mortgage on my condo that would need to be forgiven by the bank before I could move in. He was hopeful the bank would do this. I was not happy.

12. My Other Broker Was Calling Me Non-Stop, Trying To Get Me Back. That night, the developer allowed me to sleep in the master bedroom he used as an office. I was sleeping in the same room as all of his confidential papers. Ironically, I had lost the trust of a broker whom I had had several months of dealing with, and had gained trust in this developer I had met just that day.

14. The City Of Las Vegas, Much Like The Rest Of The Country, Is In Economic Crisis An apartment that would have cost $1,200,000 a few years ago, would now be listed at $500,000. But you might not get them for $500,000. You might pay $600,000 or even $800,000.
