Glow will change the way women
think about their beauty habits and
product selections.
The beauty industry in the United States is
focused on superficial goals, forcing women
to think that makeup is necessary and that
starving themselves is a beauty technique.
Glow has the opposite approach to beauty.
Glow believes that natural and organic products
that you put inside and on your body can make
you feel healthy, pure, intelligent and beautiful.
We don’t strive for flawless mannequin faces and
bodies but for bright, unique, real individuals.
Glow will help women to choose organic and
natural beauty products and cleansing juices that
will allow them to feel healthy and beautiful on the
inside and outside.
Why
natural
and
organic?
The byproducts of traditional beauty ideals
are truly not sustainable.
Figures released by the US EPA and the US
Census Bureau show that more than
3 million tons of personal care chemicals
are dumped into waterways each year.
ACCORDING TO THE ENVIRONMENTAL WORKING
GROUP, 89 PERCENT OF 10,500 INGREDIENTS
USED IN PERSONAL CARE PRODUCTS HAVE NOT
BEEN EVALUATED FOR SAFETY BY THE FDA.
Make-up, shampoos, and lotions are contaminated
with toxic chemicals that harm health.
Products used every day by men, women, and children
contain unsafe chemicals, whether it’s baby shampoos
contaminated with cancer-causing formaldehyde, lead
in lipsticks or mercury in skin creams.
With so many beauty products
available to us it’s hard to find
brands that are using organic and
natural ingredients, not harming
animals, using eco-packaging and
that maintain a business model
with a sustainability focus.
Even if one can find such a product, coming up with
an entire beauty regime full of these
products would take months of research!
THISISWHEREGLOWCOMESIN.
Glow will do the research, seeking out only the best
products for clients to choose from.
The talented staff will help to create an entire
beauty regime of these products for clients so
they can be sure they only putting healthy and
natural ingredients onto and into their bodies.
The regime will include hair care, facial skin care,
cosmetics and inner/outer body care.
Glow will show you the way.
Glow’s nutritionists and
natural beauty experts
will educate clients and
teach classes in the
Glow community room.
Classes will include topics such as,
juicing, homemade natural facials and
beauty products, organic makeovers,
self-esteem, and developing personal
organic beauty regimes.
The classes will allow community members to form
bonds with each other and with the Glow brand.

How we
will make
it happen.
Branding and Marketing
The brand will speak directly to it’s target
audience of sophisticated women ages 25+
with a crisp, clean visual look and feel. Glow
will have an extensive web presence with
information about the company mission, how
products are selected, importance of the
products and the need for change.
Research and Development
Only the highest quality and most environmentally
friendly products will be sold at Glow. In order to
maintain a quality reputation Glow will employ a
quality assurance officer. This officer will travel to
all product manufactures to see first hand if the
companies are truly living up to their claims.
Distinctive Store Locations
Our scout will seek communities that can
sustain a Glow store with an above average
median household income. The stores will run
on renewable energy sources such as solar
and wind. We will work with interior designers
who specialize in sustainability to create
environmentally friendly store atmospheres.
Product Development
A line of products has potential for creating income,
jobs, and great products that are good for the body and
for the environment. “Because of the growing consumer
concern about hazardous chemicals exposure to human
beings as well as the earth’s environment, the natural
products sector has been the fastest growing segment
of the cosmetics market—even during the recession.
This segment is expected to top $11 billion by 2016.”
Product development will be a large section of the Glow
brand once established.
Become an industry leader
The brand will create a seal of approval for
products that they trust and want to promote.
This seal of approval will solidify Glow as a
respectable and trustworthy source of
information on natural and organic products

  • 2. Glow will change the way women think about their beauty habits and product selections.
  • 3. The beauty industry in the United States is focused on superficial goals, forcing women to think that makeup is necessary and that starving themselves is a beauty technique. Glow has the opposite approach to beauty.
  • 4. Glow believes that natural and organic products that you put inside and on your body can make you feel healthy, pure, intelligent and beautiful. We don’t strive for flawless mannequin faces and bodies but for bright, unique, real individuals. Glow will help women to choose organic and natural beauty products and cleansing juices that will allow them to feel healthy and beautiful on the inside and outside.
  • 6. The byproducts of traditional beauty ideals are truly not sustainable. Figures released by the US EPA and the US Census Bureau show that more than 3 million tons of personal care chemicals are dumped into waterways each year.
  • 7. ACCORDING TO THE ENVIRONMENTAL WORKING GROUP, 89 PERCENT OF 10,500 INGREDIENTS USED IN PERSONAL CARE PRODUCTS HAVE NOT BEEN EVALUATED FOR SAFETY BY THE FDA. Make-up, shampoos, and lotions are contaminated with toxic chemicals that harm health. Products used every day by men, women, and children contain unsafe chemicals, whether it’s baby shampoos contaminated with cancer-causing formaldehyde, lead in lipsticks or mercury in skin creams.
  • 8. With so many beauty products available to us it’s hard to find brands that are using organic and natural ingredients, not harming animals, using eco-packaging and that maintain a business model with a sustainability focus. Even if one can find such a product, coming up with an entire beauty regime full of these products would take months of research!
  • 10. Glow will do the research, seeking out only the best products for clients to choose from. The talented staff will help to create an entire beauty regime of these products for clients so they can be sure they only putting healthy and natural ingredients onto and into their bodies. The regime will include hair care, facial skin care, cosmetics and inner/outer body care.
  • 11. Glow will show you the way.
  • 12. Glow’s nutritionists and natural beauty experts will educate clients and teach classes in the Glow community room.
  • 13. Classes will include topics such as, juicing, homemade natural facials and beauty products, organic makeovers, self-esteem, and developing personal organic beauty regimes. The classes will allow community members to form bonds with each other and with the Glow brand.

  • 15. Branding and Marketing The brand will speak directly to it’s target audience of sophisticated women ages 25+ with a crisp, clean visual look and feel. Glow will have an extensive web presence with information about the company mission, how products are selected, importance of the products and the need for change.
  • 16. Research and Development Only the highest quality and most environmentally friendly products will be sold at Glow. In order to maintain a quality reputation Glow will employ a quality assurance officer. This officer will travel to all product manufactures to see first hand if the companies are truly living up to their claims.
  • 17. Distinctive Store Locations Our scout will seek communities that can sustain a Glow store with an above average median household income. The stores will run on renewable energy sources such as solar and wind. We will work with interior designers who specialize in sustainability to create environmentally friendly store atmospheres.
  • 18. Product Development A line of products has potential for creating income, jobs, and great products that are good for the body and for the environment. “Because of the growing consumer concern about hazardous chemicals exposure to human beings as well as the earth’s environment, the natural products sector has been the fastest growing segment of the cosmetics market—even during the recession. This segment is expected to top $11 billion by 2016.” Product development will be a large section of the Glow brand once established.
  • 19. Become an industry leader The brand will create a seal of approval for products that they trust and want to promote. This seal of approval will solidify Glow as a respectable and trustworthy source of information on natural and organic products
  • 21. By making it more convenient for women to make good beauty and health choices Glow has great potential for positive impact on lives and the environment. By promoting these earth friendly products Glow will be helping to further a mission of sustainability and environmentalism.
