3. ¿Para qué necesito yo un PLE (o no)?
4. ¿Qué partes tiene un PLE?
6. Primeros pasos en tu propio PLE.
3. WARNING!
Los PLEs no son para culquiera:
Implican prácticas innovadoras de construcción de
conocimientos que no todo el mundo entiende (!):
• “Aprender a aprender”.
• Cambio de actitud: no solo “recibir”, sino
también crear y compartir conocimiento.
7. "Personal Learning Environments are systems that help learners take
control of and manage their own learning. This includes providing
support for learners to
set their own learning goals
manage their learning; managing both content and process
communicate with others in the process of learning
and thereby achieve learning goals.
A PLE may be composed of one or more subsystems: As such it may
be a desktop application, or composed of one or more web-based
services”.
van Harmelen, Mark (August 2006). "Personal Learning Environments"

8. A PLE is a facility for an individual to
access, aggregate, configure and
manipulate digital artefacts of their
ongoing learning experiences.

9. (...) a collection of tools,
brought together under the
conceptual notion of
openness,
interoperability, and
learner control. As such,
they are comprised of two
elements - the tools and the
conceptual notions that drive
how and why we select
individual parts. PLEs are a
George Siemens concept-entity.
10. Graham Attwell &
Cristina Costa:
Whilst PLEs may be represented as
technology, including applications
and services, more important is the
idea of supporting individual
and group based learning in
multiple contexts and of
promoting learner
autonomy and control (...)
Personal Learning Environments
offer both the framework and the
technologies to integrate personal
learning and working.
11. The PLE is an approach
not an application.

Personal Learning Networks (PLNs*) are all

24. “ The most compelling
argument for the PLE is to
develop educational technology
which can respond to the way
people are using technology
for learning and which allows
them to themselves shape
their own learning spaces, to
form and join communities and
to create, consume, remix, and
share material”.
