4. We advise you to select the finest speakers in the theme or field
that you have chosen – the local voices of Big Data. Those
experienced in public speaking and/or that have controversial
perspectives are often the best. It is important to be clear about the
topic that your speaker is presenting on and that this fits in with the
theme of your event and that of Big Data Festival. Speaker quality
will directly affect the number of attendees you will gain

5. Location
Location is key to the success of your event and this depends on the scale
of your event. You don’t have to think of a venue as a huge expense – if
you’re holding an intimate meet-up, why not hold it in your office, or in a
coffee shop? To keep costs down for larger events look to partner with
local brands and businesses to mutually benefit each other. Remember
to consider transport links, accessibility and capacity when choosing your
location!

6. Simply visit this page www.bigdatafestival.co/events/new and fill
out the different fields. Make sure to add your logo and put in as
much detail as you can so that our audience can gain a useful
insight into your event. If your city does not exist in our drop down
menu, please e-mail ctowers@bigdatafestival.co who will create
the city for you. You will receive a confirmation e-mail from us to
let you know your listing has been successful.

logos from the press area of the Festival Website to use on your

We will be sending out a newsletter fortnightly to the Big Data
Festival community. If you have exciting speakers lined up, or a
competition you’re promoting – let us know and we will do our best to
