How to Add Existing Field in One2Many Tree View in Odoo 17
Australia and Social Media
2. "We define social network sites as web-based services
that allow individuals to (1) construct a public or semi-
public profile within a bounded system, (2) articulate a
list of other users with whom they share a
connection, and view (3) and traverse their list of
connections and those made by others within the
system. The nature and nomenclature of these
connections may vary from site to site."
(Boyd & Ellison 2008, pg. 211)
3. “As the ultimate form of expression, social media is
now an undeniable force in modern-day
communication. And it has businesses everywhere
scratching their heads wondering how best to use
it to engage with consumers.”
(Sensis Social Media Report, May 2011, pg. 3)

11. WHAT’S CHANGED?
Australia’s social media statistics have changed slightly
within the past year. Less people seem to be accessing
social media networks every day, but more people
seem to be connected to social media networks in
general.
So how are businesses keeping up with social media?

14. WHAT’S CHANGED?
Australian businesses have more of a presence in social media in
2012, but this just seems to have driven up the amount of people
that want things from the businesses through social media. It would
also be crucial for marketers to reach the 24% of bloggers out there
in order to enhance their brand. They also need to work on their
strategies in driving users to their social media sites, as more
Twitter users don’t follow businesses. Although, more people seem
to take notice of advertisements on social networks.
More of an attempt to interact with users in the way they use social
media is needed. Businesses need to make more updates, post
more media, and prove to users that they are more like their “friend”
than a business after their money.
16. PREDICTIONS…
Social media is going to continue to grow over as
the years pass. More and more people are
interacting with the networks, and it is something
now that the mainstream media constantly pushes.
It’s safe to say that the phenomena won’t be dying
down any time soon.
17. With Facebook’s CEO having a base salary of $500,000 and being
worth $17.5 billion, it’s hard to comprehend the downfall of social
media at any time in the near future.
18. We’ll most likely end up like this...
