DIRECTOR, TECHNOLOGY, Warranty & Power Group
Reporting to the CTO, in the role of Director Technology, responsible for developing and supporting web-
based software solutions for US and International customers. Led a 45 member on-shore/off-shore
software engineering organization leveraging multiple technologies.
• Drove definition and adoption of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) that was instrumental in
obtaining ISO 9001 certification – a strategic initiative of the company.
• Participated in pre-sales activities providing responses to eight RFP’s for new technology solutions and
closing one sale to a new customer headquartered in Japan.
• Successfully completed multi-million dollar software development projects for two international customers.

DIRECTOR BUSINESS APPLICATIONS (2006 to 2008)
Reporting to the Sr. Vice President in the role of Director Business Applications, led a software
technology organization with 150+ staff in several US and international locations and an operating budget
of $25MM. Portfolio included over 100 custom and commercial products utilizing a wide spectrum of
technologies.
• Planned, managed and delivered a $2MM seven month program to transition multiple technology
functions to an outsourced off-shore business model. This program involved on-boarding,
knowledge transfer, process re-engineering, vendor negotiation, technology infrastructure upgrades,
etc.
• Defined and managed the outsourced relationship - negotiated Master Service Agreement and related
Statements of Work, defined Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements.
• Successfully delivered twenty custom software product enhancement projects and six commercial
product upgrade projects on schedule and within budget.
• Planned and managed program to convert 300,000 accounts to the Windstream suite of applications.
This six month program included gap analysis/closure, data mapping/migration and extensive testing.

SR. MANAGER – SOLUTIONS DELIVERY/PMO (2002 to 2006)
Reporting to the Vice President, IS as Senior Manager, I developed and sold the business case to improve
solutions delivery capabilities by establishing a new organizational structure, implementing improved tools
and processes and leveraging synergies within application architecture, business analysis and project
management. Established and led this new fifty person organization and was accountable for delivering
quality projects on time and within budget while evolving the enterprise application architecture.
• Developed dynamic, highly effective project management organization by setting high expectations,
leveraging PMI/PMBOK processes, implementing PM training initiative resulting in PMP certification for
80% of project management team and improving project/portfolio management tools.
• Annually improved project delivery metrics (quality, schedule and budget) while delivering over 500,000
hours project work effort over a three year period.
• Improved project governance processes and reporting enabling smoother project execution.
• Established application architecture roadmap by developing “as is” and “to be” models and designed

Was selected by the Asst. Vice President, IS to define and develop a service provider business to address
emerging opportunities with new entrants in telecommunications industry.
• Researched needs of new entrants, mapped those needs to current capabilities and identified gaps,
weaknesses and opportunities.
• Developed and distributed Request For Information to secure partner to address gaps in current offering,
