colleagues to support one another’s “micro inquiries” & decision

my laptop that I recorded earlier in a meeting using PenUltimate on
my iPad
n  3pm: Browse my daily Google Alerts list on “Google Glass in
Healthcare”
n  4pm: Use Diigo to share relevant links, with team, on competitive
social media programs I collected in a tagged list.
n  5pm: Use Skype Vcon for face to face with vendor via my iPhone as I
walk to garage to head home for day.

n  Important to remember that the power of virtual working is
in my attitudes & behaviors more than in the technologies
n  I use tools to cultivate a “virtual open space” where I can
“turn around” and gain/offer access from/to team members
regardless of space & time barriers
n  I negotiate effective “rules of virtual engagement” with
my team
n  I am clear about the strategic role each tool plays in my
personal communications & collaboration strategy
n  I use tools to mimic each type of appropriate
communications context from casual to teamworking to
information management.

It also creates a “casual presence & access” with staff.   • 5. +A Day In My Virtual WorkLife n  1pm: Use Trello to input & to check on progression of tasks assigned to team & vice-versa n  2pm: Use Evernote to retrieve, & share handwritten meeting notes on my laptop that I recorded earlier in a meeting using PenUltimate on my iPad n  3pm: Browse my daily Google Alerts list on “Google Glass in Healthcare” n  4pm: Use Diigo to share relevant links, with team, on competitive social media programs I collected in a tagged list. n  5pm: Use Skype Vcon for face to face with vendor via my iPhone as I walk to garage to head home for day.   • 6. +Behaviors & Mindsets Aiding Virtual Working n  Important to remember that the power of virtual working is in my attitudes & behaviors more than in the technologies n  I use tools to cultivate a “virtual open space” where I can “turn around” and gain/offer access from/to team members regardless of space & time barriers n  I negotiate effective “rules of virtual engagement” with my team n  I am clear about the strategic role each tool plays in my personal communications & collaboration strategy n  I use tools to mimic each type of appropriate communications context from casual to teamworking to information management.
