4. RAISING THE BAR IN 2015

6. VA ANGELS FINDS NEW HOME AT CEI
CEI bolstered its connection to the investment community when the VA
Angels – a Canadian-based angel investment group – announced that
CEI would host the organization as it expanded to Phoenix. As such,
local entrepreneurs gained yet another resource for capital funding.

8. “STARTUPLABS” OPEN FOR BUSINESS
CEI partnered with Phoenix Analysis & Design Technologies (PADT) to
launch StartUpLabs, which offers affordable 3D printing and design
services with PADT engineers. CEI clients earn discounted services
through the lab, but it is available to entrepreneurs in the community

10. SEVEN NEW CLIENTS SINCE JULY
CEI accepted (7) new clients since July, highlighted by big name
startups NeoLight as well as gLOVE Treat in early fall and punctuated
by Swimlane in November. These companies are poised to create
sizeable economic impact with the support of CEI’s new customized
client onboarding and strategic planning services

12. PINNACLE LEADS THE WAY
CEI client Pinnacle Transplant Technologies continued its tremendous
growth in 2015, which included the onboarding of a 3rd shift of
associates in July – bringing their total to (80) employees. In addition,
the company has earned top honors from leading organizations such
as the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce, Arizona State
University (WP Carey School), AZBio, and more.

14. VISIONGATE GRADUATION A BIG WIN
VisionGate graduated from CEI program in October and opened its
new clinical laboratory and headquarters in south Phoenix. 18,000+
square foot space will advance the company’s commercialization of its
LuCED early lung cancer detection test

16. GLOVE TREAT HITS OPRAH MAGAZINE
Client Paraffin International LLC reached new heights in December
with the inclusion of its product, gLOVE Treat, in Oprah Magazine’s “O-
List” for January 2016. gLOVE Treat is a safer, more sanitary and
effective paraffin wax treatment for cosmetic and medical industries.
