• Four adjectives (words that describe other words)
• One nationality
• Three nouns (words that mean ‘things’)
• One plural noun
• Two numbers
• One shape
• Two food items

5. Gameplay: Creating Answers
• Each team will receive an answer sheet to start with
(Sheet A)
• Teams will be given three minutes to fill in Sheet A
6. Gameplay: Presentation
• A second sheet will be given with the Mad Libs story (Sheet B).
• Teams are to fill in the words they have come up with into the story.
• Teams will nominate one or more students as a storyteller to read out the
story.
7. Scoring
•Points will be awarded for:
• Creativity of words (5 points)
• Storytelling (10 points)
• Use of teacher-facilitator (possible bonus 5
points)
8. Rules & Regulations
• While the aim of Mad Libs is to be fun and wacky, words
that are offensive, sexual, religious, or political in nature
are strictly prohibited.
• Otherwise the only rule is – if you’re not having fun,
HAVE FUN!
