2. What is a Paragraph?
A paragraph consist of a group of related sentence
that develops a main idea.
Paragraph writing consist of several rules that
organizes the thought of the writer.
3. Rule one (1)
Indent
To indent means to begin your writing a few spaces
away from the left margin.
4. Rule 2
Decide on a Main Idea and the right supporting details
The main idea is who or what the paragraph is about.
Supporting details tell about the main idea. Support
details are the meat of your story!!!
5. My Pet Rover
I have a pet dog name Rover. Rover is the
coolest dog ever! Rover knows how to play all
kinds of tricks. He can jump high and run really fast.
When I am sad Rover comes over to cheer me up. I
have the best dog ever!

6. Rule 3
Always begin with a capital letter and end with the
correct end mark.
A capital letter is an uppercase (BIG) letter.
An end mark comes at the end of the sentence.
e.g. i have a blue ball
I have a blue ball.
7. Rule 4
Do not number, bullet or space your sentences.
A paragraph should be writing in flowing order.
1. I have a pet dog name Rover
2. Rover is the coolest dog ever!
3. Rover knows how to play all kinds of tricks.
4. He can jump high and run really fast
5.When I am sad Rover comes over to cheer me up.
6. I have the nest dog ever!
