and Ethiopian Agricultural Institute of Research (EIAR) on the
training workshop
2 Present the tool to selected professionals from EIAR and NMA to August
familiar them with the work that can be done with the tool.
3 Formulate thematic area for the anticipated pilot and Establish August
working group during the introductory workshop.
4 Plan for a case study in detail September/2012
•Selection of reference site and specific crop
•Climate data preparation
•Collection of other biophysical and socioeconomic data
•Field visits at reference sites
•Etc
5 Execute the case study (September/12 – August/13)
6 Present the result in a larger workshop and get feedback (Sep/13)
7 Scale up the pilot for a comprehensive analogues exercise in a larger Beyond September 2013
scale of space and thematic area.
Note: we expect continuous technical support from the Climate Analogue developers team and CCAFS. The first report will be
delivered in September and the subsequent reports will be sent on quarterly basis
