Whether you are a new employee or you have worked for Fibernetics for many years,
we believe that career development is extremely important. That's why career
development is a fundamental element of our HR Plan.
What Is Career Development?
For Fibernetics, career development is the critical process of growing employees to help
them fulfill Fibernetics' mission and provide high-quality services to our customers.
For you as an employee, career development is choosing a job that matches your
interests, values and skills as well as developing these skills through the many resources
made available to you at Fibernetics. Career development is the lifelong process of
managing your living, learning and earning in order to reach your professional goals.
Why Does Career Development Matter?
Fibernetics' customers cannot receive the service they deserve without a skilled
workforce. Without awesome employees like you, Fibernetics cannot reach its goals.
That's why helping you manage your career is one of our top priorities.
For you as an employee, career development matters because, if you are able to use your
strongest skills, you will become more engaged in your work and you will feel more
fulfilled.

4. USING YOUR CAREER PLANNING WORKBOOK
This career planning workbook will help you manage and develop your career. It
contains exercises that will help you set your career development goals and create your
Career Development Plan.
The workbook also incorporates the way in which Fibernetics Corporation will support
you in this process. It will teach you how to have a meaningful career conversation with
your manager. Remember, your supervisor is there to provide guidance and support but
the Career Development Process belongs to you. Only you can steer your career in the
right direction.
The workbook's objectives are to assist Fibernetics' employees in considering relevant
information that is needed in order to make career decisions and plans. The brochure
will help you identify the steps you need to take before decisions and plans can be made.
It will teach you how to obtain the support and the information you need in order to
reach your goals.
The workbook follows a step-by-step format. The exercises that are included in this
booklet will help you organize your ideas and start meaningful conversations.
All you need to do is to go through the exercises in a thoughtful way. Carefully reflect
on the question and properly consider your answer. Take your time! You don't need to
complete all the exercises in one sitting.
If you take the time to diligently complete all the exercises you will most likely discover
interesting things about yourself.

you are more productive and more effective. Self-assessment is the first and the most
important step in planning your career.
Making plans for your future is a difficult task and we understand that. We are here to
