A quick glance at any processed food will give anyone a clue about what people consume each day. Full of additives and preservatives, someone could wonder why people do not receive the same treatment as cadavers for preservers they consume. On top of that, people are subject to pollution, pesticides, drugs, cosmetics and chemical fillings every single day.

Importance of Water to Society
Water’s importance is universal, not only to humans but to society. Without it,
plants would not flourish; it would be too hot during summers and most recreational
activities would not be possible. Nevertheless, its immediate purpose is to provide
people a way of quenching thirst, balancing water level on the body and generally
avoid dehydration.
While the government retains the role of implementing the means to achieving
clean water, the way they approach it is adequate, not perfect. The people remain
responsible for ensuring that their drinking water is clean. The market for water
cleansers is expanding and offering competent devices such as undersink water
filters to clean tap water and reverse-osmosis machines.
Superior Water is Not Bought
Premium water bottles are everywhere nowadays. These water bottles seemingly
have the replenishing effect of the mythical Fountain of Youth for a price, with the
age-defying, energy-regenerating particles taking the form of electrolytes.
It is a good thing that evolution and
adaptation moulded human bodies to
be receptive to these extraneous
solutions. It is only to an extent that
humans can adapt, as the rest still
cannot endure extensive poisoning,
radiation exposure and other
extreme forms of pollution.
Right now, water remains to be the
only pure thing people consume.
3. The worst is making consumers pay for a universal need. Water is for everyone, but
premium bottlers are trying their best to marginalise consumers and make it seem
that their products are ‘better’ in a way than regular bottled waters.
As something that should hydrate and flush toxins, it should not contain more than
its basic components: two hydrogen atoms and one of oxygen’s own. The recycling
part is good for the economy, but it all masks the problem of charging people of
what should be theirs in the first place.
Right now, there are enough technologies to make consuming water is safe. In the
future, the hope remains to be that clean water is available, freely, to everyone.
