R.E.I.G.N. (Renewed, Empowered, Influential, Galvanized, Necessary) Development Center is designed to facilitate skills training to men, including those who are homeless, veterans, ex-offenders, unemployed and underemployed in Florida.

work and the right support, adversity can be overcome.
Galvanized by the strength and encouragement gained through interactions with
those who believe in the possibility of success.
Necessary to impact peers and move forward in the reintegration into society as a
representation of optimism and opportunity.
4. Council on Homlessness Report
• According to the Council on Homelessness 2013 Report, men make up 67% of the
homeless population in Florida. In 2014, the recorded percentage sits at 65%.
• A large caveat to this count is that homeless persons living in rehabilitation facilities nor
those staying with family or friends.
5. Current Available Resources
• Many forms of assistance are focused on women and children
• Very few are focused primarily on men.
• Some homeless shelters and rehabilitation facilities are focused on
men.
