A consulting geographer and GI systems developer, Charles has been working for First Nations, non-profit and research communities since 2004. Charles has a PhD in conservation GIS from the University of Turku in Finland. He leads the GeoMemes Research team (www.geomemes.com) and is an adjunct assistant professor at UVic Geography.
